Wickiup Loop

A simple quick loop around the Wickiup.

This short loop will put a smile on your face. The trail name comes from the prominent pyramid shaped summit in the center of the loop. The best views are at higher elevations on the southern half of the trail. We drove it in our Jeep but thought it would be just as much fun in our RZR. You’ll find a large camping area if you stay on the paved road past the start of the trail. Staging areas are for day use only.

The majority of the trail is easy, smooth driving on two track roads and in dry washes. Several rocky hill climbs require a patient driver and a vehicle with high ground clearance and low-range gearing.
