Overview

Centerpiece trail in an area featuring several very extreme trails.

For thrill-seekers looking for maximum challenge. Although trail is short, allow plenty of time for the extreme conditions. Two other trails nearby are even harder, known as “Middle Middle” and “Upper Middle.” We are not describing them in detail, but see opposite page for directions to trailheads. GPS locations are on map.
This trail requires an OHV permit even if your vehicle has a license plate. See page 18. No seasonal closures.

Extremely difficult. Giant loose boulders 2 to 4 feet in size. Rollovers and vehicle damage are common occurrences. Winch, lockers, roll cage and very large tires a must.
