Overview

Remote desert drive to historic mining townsite.

This is a great family outing with lots to see at an old mining townsite. You’ll follow an easy, fun, winding road deep into the desert. For slightly more challenge, you can continue past the townsite to ruins of an old pumping station along the Bill Williams River. Many great side roads to explore for ATVs and UTVs. At the townsite, please leave everything as you find it.

Trail Ratings Defined

Mostly graded, but last few miles before townsite meander up and down steep hills. Trip to pumping station is mix of sandy washes and moderately steep rocky sections. Stock SUVs can reach townsite. High clearance 4-wheel drive needed after that.
