Road passes just below Grandview Point at Waypoint 03. Hike a short distance to the top.
Follow a high, scenic ridge above the town of Big Bear Lake. The route passes between two tree-hidden ski areas. The road is heavily used by hikers and mountain bikers, so avoid the temptation to drive fast on the smooth dirt road. Many side roads to explore. Street-legal vehicles only. Best views require short walks from your vehicle. You can extend trip and add difficulty if you go down and back up the south side of the mountain via Clarks Summit, Trail #74.
