Overview

Great club run with camping along the route.

Trail climbs to the top of Sherman Peak just below 10,000 ft. Many legal side roads for green-sticker ATVs on the west end. More singletrack trails for dirt bikes on the east end. Helmets required. Great camp spots along the route including several at popular Bonita Meadows. Wildflowers in abundance after spring runoff.

Saturday May 23,2026. I took a stock 1995 4Runner up this trail. It is doable but I was extremely lucky in several places. I do not recommend attempting this trail in a stock vehicle but if you do, it will be one of the most rewarding adventures of your life.
