Overview

Remote offroad adventure features extreme hill climb.

A fairly short trail with one horrendous hill to climb. Involves long scenic drives going in and coming out. (See trails #53 and #56.) Very popular during the Easter Jeep Safari due to the entertaining spectacle of many vehicles struggling to get up the hill. This spot typically takes 2 to 3 hours during a Safari. Network of side roads for ATVs and UTVs, but hill will stop many riders. Road is part of Kokopelli Trail.

Trail Ratings Defined

Hill is a quarter mile of steep, loose rock mixed with tall sharp ledges. Expect to be bounced, tossed, and challenged. Lockers and very high clearance required. Common breakage includes axles and driveshafts. Best in dry weather. Not for stock vehicles. Go with small group of capable, winch equipped vehicles, or go during Safari. A bit easier if run in reverse direction.
