Rough, winding forest road with views of Owens Valley.

High views of Owens Valley and the Sierra Nevada. Scenic camp spots along the northern half of this lightly used trail. Drive to the top of 9,412-ft. Mazourka Peak. Open to green-sticker vehicles. Many side roads to explore, some to old mining locations. Parts of trail run along the edge of Inyo Mountains Wilderness. Stay on designated routes at all times.

Southern half of route is maintained gravel road suitable for passenger cars. Northern half is hilly with several steep, narrow, rocky spots. Suitable for stock, 4x4, high-clearance SUVs. Optional side trip to Betty Jumbo Mine is very narrow and tight at the end. Rock slides possible.
