Overview

Remote trail climbs to scenic lake above 10,000 feet.

Trail climbs above 10,000 feet to a scenic lake below Dunderberg Peak. Beyond is Hoover Wilderness. In 2004, we ran this trail in mid July and had to push through deep snow drifts at the top. Dispersed camping along the route and at the high lake. Spring wildflowers and great fall color. Open to green-sticker vehicles. Stay on marked routes only.
