Overview

May be the toughest hard-core trail in Big Bear area.

This popular hard-core trail is considered by many the toughest in the Big Bear area. Often driven in the opposite direction. Can also be run in sequence with trails #69 and #70. Can get busy on weekends and holidays causing traffic back-ups. Not open to green-sticker vehicles. Trail climbs above 8,100 feet with views of Lucerne Valley along a high ridge.

Trail officially begins at Waypoint 03, not far from the Gate Keeper. A good spotter here will speed up the process. Winch points are hard to find. Many more boulders follow.
