Overview

Scenic trail along Holy Joe Rim.

Trail climbs along a high ridge, then meanders up and down across rugged, scenic Holy Joe Rim. There it descends and follows sandy Zapata Wash back to Hwy. 77. Much of route is on private ranchland open at owner’s discretion. Open to all OHVs, but you must stick to the route shown here. Follow rules and regulations posted at start of Cowboy Miller Road.

Trail Ratings Defined

Much of trail is easy, but Holy Joe Rim is narrow, rocky and quite steep in places. Stock vehicles with high clearance, low-range gearing and a careful driver can do it.
