Overview

Jeeps explore lower parts of these towering dunes

Area is obviously best suited for dune buggies and vehicles with paddle tires; however, owners of regular 4x4s can have a great time, too. Just use common sense. Stay on smaller dunes and away from the drift side of dunes where sand is super soft. Drive or ride anywhere within park boundary. A great place to camp and enjoy the sun. A pass is needed for each vehicle you drive into park. Overnight camping allowed. All vehicles must be licensed or have OHV sticker. Flags required.
