Overview

Difficult trail winds across the San Rafael Swell.

An easy-to-reach loop route that offers both great challenge and beautiful scenery. After an unusual entrance through long culverts under I-70, you’ll follow an easy route along scenic bluffs with camping, rock art, fun side trails and Dutchman Arch. After that begins a long, difficult loop north on a high ridge that returns, at first, in a wash, but soon gets harder with the traverse over Fix-It Pass and beyond.
