Overview

Difficult trail winds across the San Rafael Swell.

An easy-to-reach loop route that offers both great challenge and beautiful scenery. After an unusual entrance through culverts under I-70, you’ll follow a short, easy route along scenic bluffs with camping, rock art, and Dutchman Arch. The long, slow, and difficult loop north on a high ridge takes almost 3 hours. As you leave the wash and climb Fix-It Pass, the trail gets easier. One last steep climb as you head south toward the interstate and then you can relax.
