Buena Vista’s premier offroad trail with extreme option.

One of the most popular motorized recreation spots in Colorado for both licensed and unlicensed vehicles. Minimal snow and close proximity to the front range makes it a popular winter destination. Carnage Canyon is a nationally recognized extreme trail. A showcase area for extreme but responsible 4-wheeling. Stay on established routes at all times. Carry and use a spill kit if you attempt Carnage Canyon.

Was on Chinamans back in March and again now in July 2020. The trail has gotten a little worse between these two times, chewed up in sections particular the Whale Tail and even the V notch. Still, fun and challenging running a modified FJ60 will eventually return again. High clearance and most definitely sliders, good skid plates required. Seen some on 33s running and making the trail that looked a little rough afterward, would suggest 35s. Have fun, I would and have not done Carnage with my rig as it would never look the same afterward, the trail is made primarily for crawlers, which I have. The EXIT at Carnage is something else, if your rig is a little top-heavy don’t even do it.
