Overview

Loop road winds alongside two different creeks.

Trail combines Beaver Creek and Muddy Creek to make a fun loop. Fly fishing and camping are popular along Beaver Creek. F.S. 139 exits to Fraser at halfway point. Once on Muddy Creek, trail twists through aspen groves and descends back to Highway 40. Open seasonally June 15 to Nov. 15.

Beaver Creek is easy the whole way. Muddy Creek has one moderate section that is extremely muddy in early summer. The mud seldom dries out completely. It is best to travel with another vehicle in case you get stuck.
