Great area for weekend and vacation getaways. Many fun trails to explore beyond what’s shown on our map. Lots of large camp spots on the north end where we started. Although this section is in the Hayman Burn Area, it has recovered quickly and you’ll see lots of wildflowers early in the year. You can also start the trail at Waypoint 04, from Divide, CO. This whole area is popular for unlicensed vehicles because of the 50″-wide 717 Trail System which crisscrosses everywhere. See Phantom Creek, Trail #85, for details of a large staging area where many people access the 717 system.

This is part of the North Divide Trail system if anyone is wondering. Something I will state is the option loop mentioned for 357A and 357B I did it in my stock 1993 Nissan Pathfinder and didnt have any issues. Ues it has some steep and narrow parts but its not an issue for a Pathfinder, 4Runner or small Jeep. Better yet any small SUV will handle it just fine.
