Overview

Short, hard-core descent to beautiful lake.

Short but beautiful hard-core trail. Great views looking down on Gold Lake and Snake Lake. Route open to green-sticker vehicles; stay on posted routes only. You don’t need reservations at Gold Lake Campground at the north end of the lake, but you do at the OHV Campground at the south end of the lake. Go over obstacles, not around them, to prevent widening the trails.
